Beauty without Brains?

Looks like even Miss South Carolina herself doesn’t know exactly where United States is on the map. In Miss Teen USA 2007, Miss South Carolina answers the question and explains why one out of five American young people cannot locate their own country on a map. Are we lacking in good education? I think this girl made us figure it all out.

The question seems so simple but perhaps with the nerves, tension, induced confidence, and complete stupidity all mixed up, the blonde beauty contestant had left the question hanging by swerving through a completely nonsense and out of place answer. Personally, I really can’t understand what she was trying to say.
